Union Maritime is dedicated to delivering focused and comprehensive coverage to our clients. Our obligation as a service provider is to provide solutions and ensure rapid response to their needs. We take that obligation very seriously.

Our commercial teams have extensive ship operation backgrounds and are available 24 hours daily to ensure we deliver cargo safely and effectively.

COMMERCIAL MANAGEMENT

Union Commercial Services (UCS) has taken the lead in managing both our owned fleet and assets owned by third parties. This consolidation of commercial management under UCS allows for streamlined and efficient operation of all assets.

Union Commercial Services (UCS) has been in operation since 2016. Our UCS division offers its clients a wide range of services, including managing a diverse fleet, chartering with expertise in both international and West African markets supported by an experienced operations team. UCS has a proven track record of delivering high-quality service and exceptional results to its global clientele.

TECHNICAL MANAGEMENT

Effective technical management is at the core of our business model. High-quality, cost-effective services are essential for success in this industry. To this end, we have carefully chosen a select group of third-party managers who are overseen by our skilled in-house technical team. This approach allows us to take advantage of the expertise and global reach of the industry's leading managers while maintaining centralised oversight and control over governance and strategy. Furthermore, we have created two specialised technical management companies within our organisation dedicated to managing a significant portion of our fleet. This ensures that our vessels are operated to the highest standards and with a focus on cost efficiency.

Virono Union Maritime is a strategic partnership between Union Maritime and the founders of Cass Technava & Technava. Technava, established in 1968, is a renowned global leader in providing equipment, installation, and maintenance services for all types of ships. Cass Technava is a Greek-Asian ship brokering venture specialising in new builds, sale & purchase, drydocks, conversions, and period chartering.

Virono Union Maritime are committed to creating an industry-leading technical management solution by utilising its combined expertise and resources. This collaboration will allow the venture to offer comprehensive and innovative technical management services tailored to meet its client's needs.

The Atlantas Group was founded to enhance safety and quality standards across our West African fleet by utilising Union Maritime's extensive infrastructure and resources. This infrastructure was previously not accessible to third-party managers.

Atlantas Group offers a comprehensive range of services and support to our clients operating in the West African region. This includes expert technical management, maintenance and repair services, compliance, and safety support. By leveraging our in-depth knowledge of the local market and our established network of partnerships, we aim to set new standards in the industry for safety, quality, and efficiency.

MARINE SERVICES

Unlocking the full potential of the maritime industry, one partnership at a time. We offer a wide range of specialised maritime services through our strategic partnerships with industry leaders, providing our clients with the highest expertise and support.

With over 40 years of presence in West Africa, we understand the value of having a large local team to support operations. We can pass this benefit on to our clients through Top Marine Services, who are exclusive agents to UML. TMS provides wide-ranging on-the-ground support to our fleet and a local presence that safeguards our clients' interests.

HSEQ

At Union Maritime, we are dedicated to fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This foundation forms the backbone of our operations and business activities. Prioritising the health, safety, and security of our employees, stakeholders, and the environment we operate is of utmost importance to us. We recognise that investing in employee development, data, and technology will enhance our risk management capabilities.

To support this culture of excellence, Union Maritime has established an assurance, technical, and data services division that ensures that our businesses comply with all applicable HSEQ regulations and industry standards. The assurance function also acts as an independent auditor. It is responsible for implementing a rigorous vessel inspection program to improve Union Maritime's assets' safety and operational standards.
