Our tankers transport crude oil, chemicals, and oil products, as well as clean petroleum products, in major commercial areas worldwide.
Laurent Cadji founded Union Maritime in 2006 with the aim of building the leading oil product logistics platform in West Africa. Laurent started his career working for Credit Suisse and Morgan Stanley, where he worked in the Commodities unit trading oil.
Lewis Cadji began his trading career in 1966 developing fertiliser exports from Israel and East Europe to East Africa and Nigeria. He notably setup and led the fertiliser division for Marc Rich group. Today Lewis is the Chairman of Union Maritime and leads the group’s bulk commodities arm.
Michael Kotsapas is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales with over 20 years of experience in the shipping industry. He was previously a shipping partner at Moore Stephens. Michael heads up Union Maritime's finance division with responsibility for all financial matters.
Bhuvnesh Kumar Dogra joined Union Maritime in 2012 as Head of Technical and has over 25 years of experience in the shipping industry. Before joining Union Maritime, he worked at a number of leading ship management companies globally, including Anglo Eastern, Wallem & Univan.
A chartered accountant by background, working across sectors, with over ten years experience in corporate mergers and acquisitions with PwC, primarily for private equity clients, Rony also spent over five years as a CEO of businesses in the UK and abroad in ‘turnaround’ roles. He joined Union Maritime in 2018 and headed Marine Services.
Matthew started his career in a City law firm and has worked for more than two decades in shipping and commodities, including for a major trading house, investment bank, and oil major. He manages Union Maritime's Legal, Insurance, and HR functions, as well as wider corporate operations.
Graham Cullinane joined Union Maritime at the beginning of 2021 and is the Chief Information Officer. Previously he worked in the Finance Sector, cooperating with leading institutions focusing on Investment Management Systems, IT Strategy, Projects, Development, and Continuity.
Edward joined the group in 2013. He now heads the Commercial Operations team globally, overseeing core day-to-day shipping operations, as well as fleet performance and optimisation.
